#53-🎊Reflecting on a Year🎉

We recently passed our first anniversary- February 10th, to be exact!! Can you believe it? I don’t know about you, but I can’t! It feels like yesterday that I sent out segments on topics like The Shame Blame Cycle, UFOs and Princesses, Shidduchim Blues, and JHMM. (You can look back to refresh your memory if you don’t know/ remember what I’m talking about.)

Back when I launched a year ago, I was filled with trepidation. Would this group take off? Would singles enjoy it? Would I have topics to talk about? How long would it take before the motivation wore off? Well, bH, this group succeeded beyond my imagination. What started as a small group comprising seven members has grown into a group of over 80 members bH! I want to thank all of you for joining me on this journey. Special shout-out to my seven original members- Thank you, thank you, thank you! It is because of you that this group is a reality!!

I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you for being members and for your FEEDBACK!!! I have gotten the most incredible, beautiful, and touching feedback from many of you, and it means so much to me! It’s what gives me the strength to keep sending out segments. Your feedback also gives me chizzuk in my personal journey when I see how my challenge serves a wider purpose by helping others grow.

Of course, I’d like to give the biggest thank you to Hashem for giving me both the strength and the ideas to keep this group going. Sometimes, I do get Writers Block, but He always pulls through. Either an idea pops into my head, or I go through an experience and think, “Hey! I can use this for my group!”

I took the time this week to briefly look through all my segments from the beginning and enjoyed a trip down memory lane. It’s cool to follow my shidduch journey from a year ago! Some segments made me smile, some made me blush, and some made me laugh! It was also nice to refresh my memory and remind myself of tools I forgot about!

I am awed and humbled each time I send out another segment.
